SHIPPING
Your order ships via USPS, UPS, or FedEx, typically arriving in 2-5 days after shipment. Alaska, Hawaii & Puerto Rico may take longer. Memorize does not ship to freight forwarding companies or export agents.

We ship to all 50 states in the US plus Puerto Rico. Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico are subject to an additional shipping fee. Please note that we do not ship to PO Boxes. We hope to expand internationally soon.
Also, please double-check your shipping address because our shipping partners use the address you provide. If there is an address change or your order is returned to us, you will need to pay the incremental shipping charges.
ORDER PLACEMENT AND RETURNS
Pre-orders are placed for a trunk that has not yet been released to the public as available. We mark items on our website as pre-orders and share expected shipping times.
Please note that these expected shipping dates are based upon our informed estimates but not a guarantee. Questions? Reach out anytime!
As soon as your order ships, you will receive a shipment notification. If you'd like an update before then, please send an email to hello@memorizeyourlife.com with your order number and we will get back to you ASAP.
Orders process very quickly. We will do our best to modify an existing order if you email us at hello@memorizeyourlife.com but we cannot guarantee that your order will be canceled or modified.
We thoughtfully style each trunk with details as chosen by you. Since every piece is unique, we cannot accept returns, cancellations, or exchanges.
While we cannot accept returns or exchanges, occasionally, a trunk is damaged in the shipping process. If this is your situation, please send photos of the damage and the packaging materials within 3 days of receipt to hello@memorizeyourlife.com.
Since each trunk is lovingly customized for you, we cannot accept returns or exchanges.

PRODUCT-SPECIFIC
We thoughtfully style each trunk with details as chosen by you. The natural variations of our handmade trunks are part of their uniqueness and character. Slight differences in color and pattern alignment may occur. Fabric prints and embroidery may intersect in unexpected ways. We occasionally adjust fabrics, fonts, and lettering to enhance each piece's distinctive style. Also, we hand apply your embroidered panel. Lastly, there may be welding marks on the outside of the trunk. While imperfections may be present, please know that your trunk is made with care and attention to detail.
Your trunk will have a steel exterior with your custom fabric-lined, quilted interior.
They're spot welds – a sign of quality metalworking. Each mark represents a point where metal sheets are precisely fused together, creating bonds stronger than the surrounding metal. Like stitches in fine leather, these traditional welds are hallmarks of superior craftsmanship.
Plush and padded, the luxe quilting adds extra care for your keepsakes and structured sophistication to the construction of your trunk.
- For large-size trunks, the embroidery is 2” when you’ve chosen 1 line of copy and between 1.5” - 1.75” when you’ve chosen 2 lines of copy.
- For medium-size trunks, the embroidery is between 1.5” – 2” depending upon the font you’ve chosen for 1 line of copy. The font is between 1” – 1.5” when you’ve chosen two lines of copy.
For the best preservation, keep your trunk in a climate-controlled space like you would store other handmade keepsakes. Avoid damp environments where temperatures can vary dramatically, and humidity isn’t moderated.
All our fabrics are limited edition, so we recommend that you order as soon as a style catches your attention. Of course, we’re constantly re-stocking new, on-trend fabrics. Let us know if you want a specific fabric and we'll try to restock. We can't wait to customize your one-of-a-kind trunk!
